Bio


Holly Hughes received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in archaeology from Brigham Young University and is currently working as an archaeologist and freelance illustrator. Holly's research interests lie in the Prehistoric Great Basin of the United States and in the Near East during the 1st Century BC/AD. She has worked on numerous excavations in Petra, Jordan and Palmyra and Apamea, Syria. In the United States Holly has worked in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, and Hawai`i. Holly has been illustrating artifacts and drafting plan and profile maps of archaeological sites for numerous projects since 2003.
